Mini Actors!
A theatre class designed for ages 4-6

Mondays at The Lyric Theatre!
What: Do you have a youngster who simply thrives when in front of an audience? Has a ton of energy? Enjoys making up stories, or playing dress up? Then bring them to our Mini Actors class on Monday afternoons!
This is a workshop class designed to engage young children in the techniques, and basics, of theatre. Each class involves a theme designed to give your child a positive experience, and enjoyable learning atmosphere.

When & Where: Mondays 4:30pm-5:15pm @ The Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg
Classes are 4 weeks long. Each month will hold a specific theme, curriculum, and presentation, so there is no "missing out" if you choose to sign up for one month, and not the other. Each month is registered individually.
FEATURED MINI PLAY AND CURRICULUM:

September 9th-September 30th. "Wild Things", based on the book by Maurice Sendak- COMPLETED

October 7th-October 28th. "The Pigeon!" A series of short plays based on the books by Mo Willems-COMPLETED

November 4th-November 25th. "The Ugly Duckling". Based on the play adapted by Monica Bosom
Families are invited the last week of class from 5:00-5:15pm for an end of class demonstration by the Mini Actors! A "Mini" Production!
Instructor: Joelle Shenk and a wonderful class helper!
Parents, you will need to sign your child In/Out each week. However, you do not need to stay for class unless you choose to. See class Terms & Conditions for health regulations and protocol. Masks are not required at this time.
Cost: $85/4 weeks, all materials included.
